People Come to Therapy for
Many Reasons
For some, it is a crisis of the spirit. There are those who give their power away to people close to them or to people in their work place. Many men and women, today, struggle with trying to find a balance between work and family life. Therapy is for people who feel stuck in unresolved problems and need a new perspective on their situation.
Others may come as a result of experiencing negative consequences of their drinking or using, or are suffering from someone else's drinking/using behavior.
Sometimes, people feel they have no real purpose in life that something is missing.
My role as a therapist is similar to that of a life coach who will assist you in removing the blocks and find new and creative ways to make the changes you want. My approach is direct and interactive. The purpose of the first session is to get a sense of how we can work together.
Call today, for more information about how counselling can help you to make the changes you want in your life.
