ABOUT alcoholism counsellor ROSEMARY MUNRO
of Toronto
Rosemary began her career in 1985, and has since established herself as a leading specialist in the addiction/counselling field. Currently, Rosemary has her own private practice in Toronto, where she counsels people both individually and in groups. People who are struggling with depression, anxiety, loneliness, relationship issues and work related stressors learn creative, innovative solutions to their problems.
Trained in experiential therapy with the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, Rosemary is very eclectic in her approach to therapy, and brings a wealth of life experience to her work. Certified as an addiction counsellor with CACCF (Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation) Rosemary offers specialized help for families with an alcohol or drug problem. She is also a trained Intervention Specialist, coaching families on how to help someone who doesn't want help. In addition to her private practice she facilitates workshops to train other professionals in Intervention, and offers an Intervention internship program.
Rosemary has been invited to speak on intervention to many community organizations, was a guest on the Canada wide Drew Marshall radio talk show and has appeared twice on Rogers TV Medical Intelligence Show.
Rosemary does not work with sex
addictions. For help with sexual addictions and obsessions in the Greater
Toronto Area, see
